Connie and Guan Yu

Photography: Yong How

I remember meeting Connie and Guan Yu almost a year back with CF to show our portfolios for pre-wedding and actual day photography. They did not sign up with us on the spot but I got a SMS from Connie an hour later saying that she had already decided to engage us before we parted, just that she doesn't want to sign on the spot. CF and my reaction was just 'duh'. That sort of started us thinking if Connie is really that corny. =p Guan Yu on the other hand is really quiet throughout and we thought they were in the 2 extremes of character.

Along the way, we started to commnicate on MSN discussing on their pre-wedding (most of the other times were just talking crap)...and we sure had some kick from threatening Connie to stop poking fun at us otherwise we'll just make her look ugly during the shoot.

Fast forward half a year later, CF and I shot their pre-wedding and they wanted us to try shooting in a more fashion style for them. It was something that's really different from our usual style but we are glad that we attempted it and everyone likes the results.

Her wedding day is one that I look forward to as well. I expected it to be pretty crazy and I was right. The first thing that shock me was Connie giving me her signature loud and animated 'Hello!' in her pyjamas (I can't describe how animated it was but it was real funny) when I stepped into her house. The day followed through with a long and sweaty gatecrash (tough one for Guan Yu and gang), a short tea ceremony followed by an outdoor shoot. Pity that it rained just when we start the outdoor shoot. The night was just as interesting with one of the most happening march in and yum seng session.

Ok, enough said. Here's the load of images from their big day. :)

A long climb begins...

Guan Yu hates durians and now he has to open one and eat it

Ok, this statement always surface during the love declaration part of the gatecrash

...but this one is more original

Evil laughters....

Camera and action!

What's up?

Connie cried uncontrollably while sending off the guests. Mum came along to offer some comfort

I think you'll prefer me to replace 'pretty' with 'chio'. =p
