Adrian & Jenny

This very nice couple had their wedding dinner at Rasa Sentosa few weeks ago.

From my experience, it had rained the past 3 times i was at Rasa. I was kinda worried that i am jinx at Rasa as the sky starts to grow dark and drizzle abit at about 4pm. :p

But luckily, the sky cleared during the evening for a wonderful night of events. Adrian even sang had a surprise performance by singing a song for Jenny on stage which moved her to tears.

Here's a slideshow of the day's event.

Cheers!

Hi Everyone! Darren here, and this is my first post in this blog.

Finally found the time to post after a hectic September schedule. So here's some of my photo of my recent wedding. It's actually a ROM held in Republic of S'pore Yacht Club in early September and I pretty like that place. Thanks to the couple, Rong Tai and Hui Shan as they really make me feel so comfortable and enjoyable covering it.

So here's goes the slideshow. :)

Will post more soon!

Steven and Linda

It's a great pleasure to document Steven and Linda's wedding yesterday. Actually it was a little stressful to shoot in the very early part of the morning...not that it was hectic. However, it was because Linda started her make up at her brother's home and it was really only her and her brother. It was rather quiet compared to the other weddings. However, things start to heat up when the relatives and friends start arriving about an hour later.

Linda has a bunch of interesting bridesmaid. Some were whacky, some were a little more serious. Steven's gang were also a sporting bunch. They took on the sabotage items with gusto.

Here's the morning highlights of their wedding yesterday. Pardon the slower loading though...just trying out the free video hosting at Vimeo this time round.

Congrats Steven and Linda! :)

Alvin & Geok Mei

First of all, i would like to thank all couples whom wished me happy birthday yesterday. *Sounds so formal right?

Erm.. but I is very gum dong leh! Wonder how you guys know about it. Really made my day. :)

Oh, back to Alvin & Geok Mei... I also bumped into Alvin yesterday when i was at Bishan. He remembered my birthday as well! I wonder how he knew it? And they were so nice to me on their wedding day! They also gave me a packet of dog food for my picky dog to sample when we were chatting about pets. And my dog love the sample!

I feel that Alvin pretty much looks abit like our Uncle Tey Yong How though.... :p

Here's a slideshow i compiled for them using their first march in song.

P.S. Let's go dog run together one of these days! :)

Cheers!

Unoffical Photographers

Referring to my good friend and fellow wedding photographer, Malek's blog post.

I guess with the advancement with digital imaging and the cameras being much more affordable these days, I'm starting to feel that it's getting tougher to do our job properly during wedding coverages with much more people crowding around trying to capture the same scene as me. This can really hinder my job as I may not be able to move as freely to get creative angles. Worst still is when another photographer comes in front of me when I'm about to nail a shot. To add on, some of them are still persistant even after they've been told to give way.

Although we had mentioned about this matter in our contract, we understand that it is not easy to enforce it on the day itself. Also on my part, I would still try to compromise by getting out the way when I'm done with the scene, it is still not great to know that I have to do that for the rest of the day. Just hope that fellow photographers can understand and give us, the offical photographers some space to do our job well. You can save your camera batteries and memory for shots at corners where I might not be around at that point of time. :)

Hooi Ping and Yuen Sern

I had the honour of covering the wedding day of Hooi Ping and Yuen Sern's wedding last month thanks to Shuixian and Raphael who referred them to me.

Rewind to a year ago when I shot Shuixian and Raph's wedding, it was one of the sweetest wedding I've covered with so much love and emotion in the air. Pity that they were pretty shy to have thier images posted here then. It was also halfway through their wedding that I got the news that my wife was pregnant. Also, I still remembered that they gave me a thank you card with 'For our V.I.P. (Very Important Photographer) written on the envelope. Shuixian and Raph, if you are reading this, I still kept your card and I hope you are both doing well. :)

Ok, back to Hooi Ping's and Yuen Sern's wedding. Their wedding was a pretty interesting to cover. Hooi Ping and Yuen Sern were rather cool through the whole day, they got pretty enthusiastic friends and relatives at their wedding and every part of their wedding was pretty filled with little moments.

The tough part came when my laptop refused to render their morning highlights properly and I had to scramble to find alternative ways to get it done. Good thing that it was resolved pretty much last minute before their solumnisation ceremony.

Here're 2 slideshows for their wedding day. I don't usually do this though... :)

Hope you like them! ;)

Rex & Val

"I'm a very detailed person"

That was what Val told me when she first met me. Both of them were dressed in corporate wear and look very very serious. -_-"

About 3-4 months later, we were chatting happily in Tampines Ikea about their wedding actual day. I am so glad that we managed to break the ice. Val was so excited about her big day. She even told me that "you guys(photographer and videographer) are the 2nd biggest on that day."

Here's some of the randoms. :)

Dont you love long veils? :)

Her gown is easily the most expensive one i came across.

P.S. Dont worry Val, i got shoot details, just that i didnt post them here. :p

Cheers!
