Technology woes
Somehow I can relate to this clip. Reflects very much on my struggle to decide whether to spend a bomb on the new Canon 5D Mk2 with 21MP and Digic4 processor or to just stay on with my current workhorse camera.

Ken and Mindy's wedding is the 2nd wedding I've covered within the 3 days.
Pretty much worn out after a full day of pre wedding shoot for a hyper couple with Chuian Feng today. Gonna talk less here...
Here's the morning highlights slideshow from Raw images for Ken and Mindy's wedding.

It was one of the toughest weekends that I've got since 1950 started having to cover 3 weddings in a row. 2 of which requires me to work continuously from early morning till dinner ends. However, I'm very fortunate to have all 3 couples to be so nice to be with and it definitely makes each shoot a nice experience in the end.
The mum of one of the brides also asked me how I can remain so cheery the whole day even after working for so long. I can only say that it's passion and sense of belonging to the wedding.
Thank you to all 3 couples...Cleo and Jude, Ken and Mindy, Jianming and Casey.
Here's a super express morning highlights which I've done within 1.5 hours for Cleo and Jude on their wedding day. All the images are raw and unedited. There are some minor glitches which I couldn't iron out in time too but I'm glad that they like it still. :)

Thanks Darren for being there to assist too.

Its a hectic weekend for us as we are having a small wedding marathon. While waiting for the computer to backup today's wedding, here's something from yesterday.
The big lorries were just inches away from them as it zoom past them. When i was shooting this picture, my head and camera was on the ground and i could feel the ground trembling due to the weight of the lorry passing beside my head.
Would you guys dare to try something like this? :p

Cheers!

From today's wedding...
The relatives each made a decorated page with their blessings to the bride and binded them into a booklet. I must say that all are wonderfully made and it's really nice to see them putting in such effort. What caught most of our attention was a page from the bride's 8 year old brother. My vague impression on the conversation between bride and her brother.
Bride: "Hey! How can you phrase it like that? What happens after I get married?"
Brother: "That's life ma...."
Bride and myself: "...."
Kids are so chim nowadays...
2 more days of marathon shoot to go. Heading to bed. :)

Had a very nice and simple wedding shoot for Michelle and Vincent. It's very nice to see that both thier families are so close knitted. I always feel that a wedding need not be extremely lavish to be a good one...the people make all the difference.
Michelle's parents are one of most 'modern' thinking and have little concern about following the traditions to the tee. I even remember Michelle's dad even asking her if she had fun with her day when she returned home for tea ceremony.
Vincent's family were equally warm and though they live in a relatively small premise, everyone there were so close knitted to each other.
Very glad to be there to document their wedding.
Here are a few selections from their morning highlights.

A challenging weekend awaits us at 1950. We'll be replying emails slower but we'll reply somehow. :)Posted by Tey Yong How at 10:15 AM 0 comments

When i first met up with Terrence and Denise, Terrence was sooooooo serious. However, i could click almost instantly with Denise. After the meet up, I asked for their msn and we have been keeping in touch ever since.
Deep beneath his first cold impression, Terrence is actually a warm hearted guy. He shared with me all the details that he planned for the big day and would update me very once and then.
After the wedding, they got me a gift from Bali during their honeymoon. Most probably that is a motivation for me to quickly process their photos so that i will meet up with them to get my gift. :D
Since they are such a wonderful couple and friend to me, here's a huge slideshow i put together for them. :)
Click on the picture below for the slideshow.
P.S. Got to be patience for the loading... The slideshow is about 70mb.
Cheers!

In the midst of clearing all the backlogs for November, i came across this heart warming shot which i like it very much.
As we just shifted server, our presentation slideshow server is down for awhile. I will be posting a slideshow soon once the other server is up. :)
Oh, our emails are back working again as well.
Cheers!

Spent a short 10min this morning to check out some blogs which I've not visited before while munching on my breakfast in office. Found this comic strip interesting from one of them. Somehow I feel that I've been 'refunding' my own baby too often to my wife. =p
Have a nice day. :)

Greetings everyone!
Our email and website are back in service after a weekend long of server migration. However, our sub-domain which hosts all our online slideshows are cranky. Hopefully the guys doing the migration can iron it out soon.
You can now continue to email us at our usual email addresses.
We have also replied all your emails. Please assist to resend again if you did not receive any response from us.
It was a busy weekend and we had been able to post anything. We'll be posting more pics soon. Meanwhile, here's one from a recent wedding. :)
Wishing everyone a great week ahead!
