M & M

Wedding Date: 25th Oct 2008
Photographer: CF

Mark & Madeline dated for nearly 8 yrs before they finally tie the knot. I guess all their friends and relatives have been bombing them with the "When you gonna get married" questions for ages.

They had a very simple gatecrash in the morning where one of the sister asked Mark only 2 geography questions.

During the dinner, I also bump into Zhimin and Alice whom happened to be their badminton buddies. I will be covering Zhimin and Alice wedding next year too. :)

Here's some random for the day.

One of the "sister", Cedric taking a peep at Madeline's makeup process.

After Mark fetch Madeline, we headed for an outdoor shoot.

This is behind the scene... Photography is not as straight forward as you see in the above pics. :)

I love happy tea ceremonies. :)

Mark brother and "da sao" gave M & M a warm hug.

I can still remember "da sao" whispering "Welcome to the family" softly into Madeline's ears. :)

I just cant stop myself from not shooting this. heeh...

Energy Packed Wedding

Wedding Date: 11 Nov 08
Photographer: Yong How

Shooting Mak and Sook Fun's wedding today. It's a very early start at 5am, everyone's tired but the energy level is kept very high. The bridesmaid 'seems' to be very tough for the groom and gang...but it's not really the case. The guys proved to be much more experienced during the gatecrash. The bridesmaid can't match their prowess.

Also very blessed with awesome lighting today to be able to shoot outdoors even at 12pm.

Ok, just thought I'll do a few quick edits before I head for their dinner shoot.

Mak, Sok Fun and gang, keep your energy level high!

Quiet moment in the morning before mayhem starts
The bridesmaids seems tough to deal with

The guys took everything with gusto

Yes, they are attempting a gatecrash here
Mak can't stop making funny faces the whole day...even in front of the serious solumniser

It's tough to get Mak to be serious during the outdoor shoot too

One of the rarer shots of them being more 'proper'
Our posey grooms man cum lighting assistant during the outdoor shoot. We've also covered his wedding last month. He knows what I wanted during the outdoor shoot after working with us so many times for his ROM, prewedding and AD. Thanks SY. :)
Ok, that's all for now. Gotta run. ;)

Maine and Chin Boon

Wedding Date: 9 November 2008
Photographer: Yong How

Phew it's another weekend with back to back wedding to cover. Good thing is that both couples are very nice people and I'm very thankful for their hospitality though I'm there to work.

Had covered Maine and Chin Boon's wedding yesterday. I like their gate crashing part. No de-meaning stuff like bikinis and stuff. Maine and her bridesmaids who are also teachers conducted the gatecrash educationally with scrabble games and word trivia.

Also kudos to Daniel who had been of great help being their driver, wedding coordinator and entertainer throughout the day. Daniel, I think you can can beat some wedding planners out there. ;)

Here's their express highlights.

Congrats to both of you! :)

Samantha and Terence

Wedding Date: 26 Sept 2008
Photographer: Yong How

Almost missed out posting the images from Samantha and Terence's wedding.

My impression on Samantha and Terence are pretty mixed. Most of the time they'll appear very soft spoken but there are little times when they have little antics that makes me feel that there's a crazy side of them. It was very enjoyable to document their wedding. Everything was timed nicely and there was little need to rush. So that makes it a breeze to cover.

It's been a long time since I've posted a slideshow, so I've decided to do up a simple slideshow this round. Hope everyone likes it. ;)

Sharon and Johnathan

Wedding Date: 5 Oct 2008
Photographer: Yong How

Greetings everyone. I've finally caught up with my editing backlogs and it seems ages that I've posted anything at all. Just before there are more people asking where I've been to, I'll better start posting again. There are several weddings that I'll be blogging about so stay tuned.

First up is Sharon and Johnathan's wedding. Their wedding started very simple and quiet. No gate crashing. Both of them started off from their matrimonial home together with the bridesmaid and groomsmen all meeting there before setting off to their respective parents' place for tea ceremony. It then followed by their wedding dinner at night without the table shots.

Here are some of the shots from their wedding. Sharon and Johnathan, hope you like them. :)
