Matthew and Jingyi

I got to know Matthew and Jingyi through Tracy and Sing Ping whose wedding I've shot for last year.

Matthew and Jingyi are really composed through the day but on the other hand know when to go a little crazy sometimes.

Their wedding dinner is held... on the same night as the NDP preview and everyone were rather worried when the carparks around Pan Pacific Hotel were pretty full in the evening. Everyone thought that the dinner was going to start real late because of this. Matthew was really cool headed and managed to work out something with the hotel staff. The dinner began earlier than usual eventually. Awesome feat indeed. :)

Here are some shots from their big day.

Matthew and Jingyi, hang in there, just a little more work on the images and they are done. :)

Chris & Hui Theng Part II

Photographer: Darren

As promised, here is the 2nd installment of Chris & Hui Theng's dinner held at Rasa Sentosa. It's actually their 2nd wedding dinner. The first was held at Grand Paragon in JB. It was fun covering it, just that I got a $50 parking summon from the Sentosa management from parking at single zigzag at the end of the night :(

Anyway, below are some randoms from during the night.

She's in her own world

Chris's dad actually went up to sing a song.

A guest from Japan.

Cheers!

Xianghua and Yan Jie

I still remember that I got an overseas call from Hong Kong from Xianghua pretty late one night to enquire on my service. We only got to meet up after only a few weeks before their wedding and I found Xianghua and Yan Jie to be an extremely nice couple.

Thier wedding is also a relatively simple and everyone had quite a bit of time to mingle.

It was only during Xianghua's speech during their wedding dinner that I knew that Yan Jie had a very 'nomadic' life having to move from country to country to work and study throughout their time of courtship. It is also ironic that there is no permanent place where she can decorate the way she wants. Xianghua was glad that he can finally give her a place where she can call home.

Xianghua and Yan Jie, I wish you a blissful life back in HK. :)

Here are some of the images of their wedding day.

Xianghua was playing the piano and harmonica while singing "You are my sunshine" which moved Yan Jie to tears
