Joyce and Fabian

Had the privilege to document Joyce and Fabian's wedding today. The whole gang were a fun bunch and it was a great wedding to shoot.

Weisheng & Claren's Wedding

Its been a rainy week and i think i got abit of rheumatism as my knee aches abit during the past few days. As Uncle YongHow always says, its a sign of age catching up once you become a wedding photographer. *_*"

Well, that aside... I had the oppourtunity to cover Weisheng & Claren's wedding last weekend. They are such a sweet couple and i wish them all the fun in their honeymoon. Dont worry, your photos will be ready when you are back! :)

Hisham and Afia

It's been a long while since I've posted much wedding images. I've got another rare chance to cover another malay wedding last week after a long time.

Hisham and Afia are extremely nice people...and one of the most accomodating couple to us. One funny thing is that Hisham intended to take a shower before setting off...and he asked me if he can take a shower. Why would I say no? *Kidding*

Update:
What a busy day. I finally got to browse through all the winning images....and I realised I got another image that got into 10th placing under 'Action' category! Just when my excitement is dying off with all the rushing of work, this came and got me all excited again.

Thanks to Joleen and Ronnie who gave me the honour to capture their big day!

JUDGES COMMENTS: This is a very clean picture and it gives off an overall sense of fun while still capturing a spontaneous moment.

Also congrats to all the fellow Singapore wedding photographers whose images got into top 20 as well! :)

One from Joey and Boon Lee's Wedding

It's been a happening time over at 1950 Photography side with the introduction of pre-wedding packages and also trying to move into our new office. On top of that, we still have loads of images to edit, emails to reply and also couples to meet. It's a really challenging time for us but we are happy that we had things going smoothly so far.

Also apologies for being slow on updating the blog for this period of time with AD images as I was trying very hard to meet the deadlines instead. Looking forward to the April's break.

Anyway, here's one from Joey and Boon Lee's wedding that I like somehow.

Pre-wedding In Perth

Hi Everyone!

Thanks to all the enquiries which have came in for the Krabi Pre-wedding. However, due to the place being too "wulu" and too "new", not many people are willing to explore. Therefore, we have changed the place to Perth.

Perth Pre-Wedding @ $5000 per couple
- 1 x 24 page album
- Return all taken hi-res images in DVD
- Including driver & transport
- Including makeup & hair-do
- No need to pay for our airfare and hotel.

Date: 13th - 19th Apr 2008
Date: 11th - 24th May 2008
Date: 11th - 17th Aug 2008

FAQ
Q: Who will be going from our side?
A: CF, YH and a lady assistant to help the bride. Yup, 3 of us!

Q: How many days will you be there?
A: We'll most probably be there for a week. If the weather is good, we'll stay for a month.

Q: What happens in case of bad weather?
A: We can chill out that day in a cafe. We don't believe that the weather will be bad for the whole week.

Q: How many places will we be going?
A: We can go as many places as time allows. We would like to explore more places as well.

Q: Why during April?
A: Because it's the only time this year that we are free and it's the best season to go to Australia.

Q: What happen to the previous Krabi Pre-Wedding Promo?
A: We have decided to change our holiday destination to Perth. :)

Q: How do you know if you'll do a good job?
A: We just know lah!

We are also planning other pre-wedding trips to other overseas places.

Donny and Joan Pre Wedding

Had a wonderful time shooting Donny and Joan's pre-wedding. They are such a fun couple to work with. Donny is so keen to explore the ideas we asked for and Joan is so patient with us.

I think Donny and Joan are going to have a hard time selecting the photos for their album. We tried alot of new poses and wacky ideas. I shall let the photos do the talking.

Here are just a small handful of the many shots that we ended up with.









Thanks to Donny for the NYDC baked rice. It was very sastifying after a day of activity.
